Sibylle

The Castle and Estate

Upon entering the castle's main hall, guests will immediately note the display of three imposing thrones along with an array of treasures and trophies. Paintings of notable members and scenes from history dot the walls where victory banners and taxidermy leave a space.

The first and most rough of the stone thrones belonged to Laouic Sibylle, the man credited with securing the Sibylle family's place in history. The second throne is that of Catalonia d'Argentré Sibylle, a historical Duchess that squashed the Uprising and ruled without a husband after marrying into the Sibylle family. The grandest is the third throne, created for The Unknown Ruler, which is encrusted with glittering precious gems and inlaid with gold and platinum.

Other famous Sibylle women and noteworthy men over the years include the first woman to become a knight of the Order, Katherine Potier, who was an inspiration for young Valkyrie as a noblewoman and knight. Her ceremonial claymore hangs in the main hall under Valkyrie's.

Breizhica is well-known for the quality of its middle-weight horses that are desired throughout the realm and beyond for their athleticism, even-willing temperaments, and trainability.

The lineage originated from heavy stock used mostly for agricultural work. Spanning generations, the Sibylle family refined the Breizhica horse at their sprawling estate. With the country's independence and the Sibylle family taking their place as rulers, the national horse began its evolution. Lighter refined breeds were incorporated into their breeding program, creating a well-rounded animal suitable for light agricultural work, but most often, the horses used by their owners for riding and military purposes.

While not a sprinter, the Breizhica horse, is known for its endurance. Standing at 16.2 hh, and weighing on average between 1250 to 1500 lbs, the horses are strong and well-muscled with an elegant balance to their conformation.

Most commonly, the Breizhica horse is Gray, black or bay in color, with some offshoots of palomino and even buckskin.
